The largest of tonight’s paintings. The 5th in an ongoing series, this painting has been in progress for over ten years, from the days when I had a studio in an old cobbled stable yard and would walk my bike through the woods up from the weir on the Liffey at Lucan. After I left that studio and those woods I took on board other trees and other woods, and eventually 2 yrs ago it significantly progressed. And now it’s finished.
