If you’re used to my paintings you’ve probably twigged by now I like shapes. If we’re ever talking and I’m looking over your shoulder it’s because I’m looking at the shapes behind you. And I liked the shape of you long before Ed did. Anyway, I also like rocks. Who doesn’t like a good rock?

I like them so much this is the second time I’ve painted this scene. This is a view of rocks and more rocks and across Galway Bay to the mountains of the Burren – which are just great big rocks. You can see this view if you go out the coast road from Galway towards Connemara, and you stop – because life is about stopping – and look left, You’ll be standing in the view if you do that, and you should, but if you want to avoid sand in your shoes you could always buy this painting.
