I chanced upon this scene while on the saddle of a bicycle. Connemara on a bike – good for the soul.

Ah look, I said to nobody. As I looked at the the turf, and the hills, the rocks and thought I was very lucky. You might not be able to see it on screen but I spent hours upon hours upon hours scraping tiny touches of paint onto those mountains – and you can see those little changes in the flesh, so to speak.
