Sandymount (Dublin)

Update: SOLD “Sandymount” (Dublin)

Ink and Watercolours

On paper, 24 cm x 18 cm (9.5″ x 7″)

Price €80 (+ €8 Registered post to Ireland; €15 P&P to rest of world)

It was sunny and pretending to be perfect when I sat in Sandymount Green. There were families playing, young people meeting up and making plans, and a woman on the next bench started reading a book.

A few hours later as I finished this painting it was very cold and my fingers weren’t happy. There were no more families, nobody was making any plans, and the woman on the next bench had finished her book. Anyway, dark and cold it may then have been but I’d had a wonderful day and was certain I’d be returning to Sandymount and its Green.

If you’d like to buy this painting just shout and I’ll then contact you to make arrangements – payment will be by bank transfer or cash probably.
