“Bovine II”

The largest of tonight’s paintings.  The 2nd in what now seems to be a series, this painting has been in progress for a few years. Like the first cow it’s another long hairy yoke with a great face. And like the first cow it’s probably a bullock. There were a couple of such creatures in the field opposite a cottage I stayed in once and I’ve been planning their paintings ever since. Anyway, this is what happens when a cow eats Ready Brek. Naturally backlit. I think he looks great from across the room – as he is right now.
