I have followed some stages of the Rás and the Tour of Ulster, and kept an eye on local Time Trials and of course the Nissan Classic in its day. That I cycle myself didn't hurt when it came to doing this commission - in fact it probably made me take even longer.
This painting was almost finished when I realized it wasn't working and started all over again.
