Nephin was completely obscured by clouds for the week I waited for it, until one day the clouds parted and gave me a peak through the gap. The parting of the clouds lasted maybe fifteen minutes and I sketched and painted as fast as I could before it disappeared completely behind the clouds again.
This mix of painterly and posterly has almost a Matissean Jazz feel that I meant to use as part of a whole series
