I like that first walk when you arrive in Galway. It's like a pilgrimage, like walking through Venice to the Piaza San Marco, only in Galway's case you go until there is no more, and then you turn around and go again.
Again I decide to not paint the tourists. They look too much like locals. And the locals aren't even from Galway.
