The wealth of megalithic stone monuments and forts on the Dingle Peninsula make a drive - or a cycle - take an eternity. Approaching Slea Head from the southeast there are a scattering of beehive huts, each with a presence on this landscape much like that of a Saguaro on an Arizona mountain slope.
This particular hut is on the Dingle Peninsula in Kerry. With the weather and the sea combined with the stones, it's a very dramatic location.
